How to Dry Hydrangea

Every year, Chester Garden Club sells freshly cut hydrangea flowers on the Craft Fair. Many people ask how to dry them.

The best way of drying is just to put them into a vase filled with water and let the water naturally evaporate from the vase. Do not refill the water. This helps to better preserve the color of the petals and make the flowers last longer. Don't forget to remove the leaves from the stems before putting the flowers into the vase and keep them away from direct…
